Personality : Affectionate and playful, Scotty at first appears to be a typical ten year old boy. He njoys comic books, video games, and playing outside with his father's dog, Roxie, but the one thing Scotty enjoys most is drawing. He is never seen without his trusty backpack, which is equipped with a variety of colorful art supplies for doodling. Ever the optimist, he is cheerful and well-behaved, though is curiosity tends to get him into trouble sometimes.
Brief History : Scotty's conception was the product of one wild night shared between Iden Swain, a rough and tumble, street-fighting Vegas boy, and Prisilla Logan, a pristine, do-good girl from a rich family. Kept a secret from Iden for several years, it wasn't until Scotty was five that Prisilla decided that the boy needed to know his father. During the start of their relationship, Iden saw Scotty as little more than a burden, but as years went by, he grew to love the child, though he has a funny way of showing it. Scotty loves his father, but perhaps loves his stepfather, Simeon Grey, even more. He looks up to Simeon as though the man were a super-hero. With his split family, both well-off financially, he spends weekends with his father and stepfather, and weekdays with his mother, who is now married to a man simply known as Paul.
Quirks and Other Information : Ever since Scotty was a toddler, he has suffered from violent night terrors that have only been made worse through various traumatic events in his life. These terrors are so awful that the boy sometimes has to be restrained to his bed to keep him from damaging himself during the night, though this is rare, and only on very stressful days. With his father's violent history, the man has made quite a few enemies, and Scotty has paid the price for it on more than one occasion, earning him a small case of paranoia that results him hating to be alone, or in the dark for long periods of time. A recent car accident gave him the scar on his left cheek, and since his right hand was paralyzed for an extended period of time, he has learned to use his left hand is now efficient with both.
